KUALA LUMPUR

FALANCHITY
HOUSE

Built on the hills of Ukay Heights this house was designed for an engineer and prolific fiction writer who wanted to live amongst the trees and to appreciate the natural beauty of Ukay Heights. Being a House Hash Harrier, he wanted an outdoors styled house.

The concept was based on the idea of enjoying repose under a shady tree. Hence the idea of a roofed canopy was conceived hovering over the living spaces tucked underneath with views out towards distant trees and hills. The house was built together with it's neighbour, the Canopy House (as they are both friends and hashers) and hence they share the same DNA in terms of the design concept.

The house has been featured in the Malaysian Tatler 2018 and the full article can be found in our Media Publication page.
