Architect's Note
The site is situated on the hilly slopes of Seputeh Heights. It is generally an affluent gated neighbourhood with bungalow lots with individually designed bungalows scattered throughout the development. The lot in which the house was built on is about 18,500 sq. Ft. The house is three storeys and has a built-up area of 24,000 sq feet and consists of a semi-basement carpark that houses 16 cars, and an entertainment lounge. The Ground floor houses the car-porch, an entry lobby framed by a koi pond. The lobby opens up to  a walkway with a travertine clad wall dividing the more private areas of the house from the more public areas. Beyond the travertine wall is the formal lounge, and formal dining as it then leads to the casual lounge, dining and kitchen. All these spaces were organised in such a manner that they open up to a manicured lawn and again framed by glass edged a 25m lap pool. Beyond the lap pool is a generous view of Seputeh Heights.
