Jade Hills House

Located at Jade Hills on a 10,600 sq ft land, the client requested for a 3-storey bungalow with a floor area of approx. 13,500 ft2. As it was on a slope, we designed a 2 ½ storey bungalow based on the natural slope.

The concept was contemporary tropical, the building oriented towards the south to capture the view.

Having the long sides of facing East and West, effort was taken to create screens and balconies to reduce the impact of morning and evening sun.

A central courtyard was created at the entrance foyer by the side of the staircase with a skylight to draw in the light. The living area and dining were designed to open up to the garden drawing in breeze through the garden.
